Introducing the Ecommerce and Online Retail Awards
CV Magazine is proud to present the recently rebranded eCommerce and Online Retail Awards 2019.
The way we make transactions has changed drastically over the last few years with more taking place online than ever before. The development of the eCommerce market has allowed even the smallest retailer the chance to have a national - if not global - presence. Already established businesses have expanded online, and numerous purely online businesses are thriving without the need for a physical location.
One of the largest segments of the eCommerce industry is Online Retail. According to the U.S. Commerce Department, U.S. online retail during 2011 totalled approximately $194 billion. This figure had climbed to $262 billion by 2013, a 13.4 percent increase. This has nothing but continued to grow since with half of the transactions now being made online.
However, the eCommerce industry is not limited to retail. Other areas include drop shipping, wholesale, crowdfunding, online subscriptions and the offering of skills and services over the internet in return for compensation. Making transactions online is convenient and quick, buying a product or ordering a service from the comfort of your own home has never been easier.
Through the eCommerce and Retail Awards, here at CV Magazine we would like to highlight and recognise those who are utilising this ever-expandable market. Any online business no matter the size, location or type can get involved and have the chance to have their excellence recognised - by a trusted source. We actively encourage all businesses to participate in this prestigious awards programme including those who provide services and technology to eCommerce businesses.
Winners in the eCommerce and Retail Awards 2019 can be rest assured that their success is truly deserved, as we employ a thorough research process to make certain that only the best receive one of our prestigious accolades. Once nominations are closed, our dedicated research team are set to work, leaving no stone unturned in order to find out everything they can about each nominee, compiling a file which is then sent over to our judges, who select only the very best to be successful.
Once confirmed, we believe that our winners should be able to showcase their achievement. As such, we work with all our nominees and winners to promote their success throughout the market, making sure that they gain maximum exposure and really benefit from their win, reaching their target audience and sharing their success. To ensure absolute fairness, we offer a complimentary package to each one of our winners, as well as the chance to purchase additional marketing materials, such as logos, trophies and a space in our celebratory magazine and certificates, all of which will be created by our talented editorial and design team so that they meet each winner’s exact needs. If you believe that you deserve acknowledgement for your hard work over the past 12 months, or you know someone that does, please let us know by submitting a nomination via our voting form.
You will find details of all our award winners here. Our featured winners are included in our digital award supplement on our website and distributed to the greater circulation. All winners are included in the online directory, which can be viewed in full on the website once the embargo has been lifted and a public announcement has been made. Please feel free to browse through our archived winners lists by clicking on the appropriate year below.

The Corporate Vision team work diligently to identify market leaders, innovators and enterprising start-ups, driving many of the nominations themselves.
We also encourage external nominations from Corporate Vision subscribers, online visitors, social media followers, clients and from our wider group circulation.
Nominating parties are invited to put forward either third-party businesses whom they hold in high regard, or their own organisation.
All nominees are formally requested to accept their nomination. Should any firm or individual rather decline at this point, they are simply taken out of the running.
Nominees who formally accept their nomination are given the opportunity to submit additional materials in support of their initial nomination. Although there is no obligation to supply material, we have found that many nominees value this stage in the process as much as our research team.
Evaluating and judging
Our dedicated research team will assess all material submitted by the nominee in order to determine winners based on merit, not popularity. The team also gather information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources.
Ultimately, the research team casts their judgment based on various criteria, including:
- Client dedication
- Business growth
- Online reputation
- Customer feedback
- Business performance
Once winners are determined, they are personally notified before any public announcement is made, allowing time for any communications throughout the wider business and the coordination of marketing strategies.
Once the press embargo is lifted, details of the winners will be made public via the website, award winners’ magazine and subscriber newsletter.

We are prepared to offer a range of promotional packages and items to Corporate Vision winners, which vary from inclusion in the free-of-charge winners’ directory, to trophies, content in the magazine and online advertising.
